Business Continuity Planning
This Business Continuity Planning Statement summarizes Woodstone Capital Inc.’s (“Woodstone’s) effort to mitigate risks inherent with unforeseen business interruptions. Woodstone institutes best practices developed by industry organizations for creating practical and effective business continuity plans (“BCP”s). Processes are developed with business continuity in mind, embedding the necessary resources and knowledge into our day-to-day operations.
Woodstone’s BCP is designed to allow it to quickly recover and resume business operations within 48 hours after a significant business disruption, which includes providing clients with prompt access to their funds and securities.
As part of the overall BCP strategy, Woodstone maintains geographically dispersed operational locations to diminish risks posed by local disruptions. In the event of an emergency at the head office, local staff is available at off-site locations to continue production work.
In the event of a disruption, communications will occur in several ways. General information, such as incident updates, office closures, and operating hours will be available on Woodstone’s internal Website. Woodstone’s clients may obtain other information via telephone as follows:
